What is a geofencing time clock?
A geofence is a virtual boundary around a work location. A geofencing time clock checks a device’s reported location against that boundary when someone clocks in. The same approach can support a job-site check-in when you need an arrival record without starting a time entry.
Does a check-in prove someone stayed on site?
It provides a location check at that moment. It does not establish continuous presence or verify that work was completed. Device location accuracy and permission affect the result, so we agree how uncertain or unavailable locations should be handled.
Can this fit our contractor workflow?
